5.00pm - 8:00pm WORKSHOP A: Optimising Your Energy Saving Potential by Increasing Energy Efficiency and Reducing Costs

Did you know your data centre operates 8760 hours a year? We know you can’t just turn it off, but what if you could make it more environmentally friendly, or even better, use less money? Facilitated by Glenn Allan, this interactive workshop will look at how you can measure the energy efficiency of data centres and how you can piece together each aspect of your centre to provide maximum energy and cost savings. If energy efficiency is to be fully utilitised, it requires an end-to-end, integrated view of your data centre, including the building, energy efficiency, asset management, capacity management, technology architecture, support services, energy sources and operations. Glenn will highlight possible areas for cost effective improvements to your data centre.
